Privacy Policy

What Arezgit needs to provide your account, what stays on your device, and the choices available to you.

1. Privacy at Arezgit

Arezdev is responsible for Arezgit. This policy explains how we use personal information when you visit our websites, read the blog, create an account, contact us, download the app, or use account-based features.

Arezgit is designed so your everyday development work stays on your computer. Your repositories, source code, diffs, terminal activity, database contents, API request contents, and locally saved credentials are not collected by Arezdev as part of normal product use. We do not sell personal information or use your work for advertising.

2. Information we use

We use a limited amount of information to provide the services you choose. Depending on how you use Arezgit, this may include:

  • Your name, email address, account status, and sign-in method.
  • Your account preferences and access to account-based services.
  • Messages you send to support, feedback you submit, and waitlist details you choose to provide.
  • Basic information about how the website, blog, and app are used, such as pages or features opened, app version, device type, general region, and referral source.
  • Information needed to keep your account available across your devices, such as device name, platform, and recent sign-in activity.

Our websites also remember certain choices in your browser so they can keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand visits to our pages.

All Arezgit features are free. External services you choose to connect have their own privacy terms and may charge you directly. Arezgit does not process those charges.

3. Why we use information

  • Create and maintain your account.
  • Maintain your preferences and account-based services.
  • Complete downloads, support requests, and other actions you ask us to perform.
  • Send important account, security, and product messages.
  • Understand which parts of Arezgit are useful and improve reliability and ease of use.
  • Protect users, prevent misuse, and meet legal obligations.

We use information when it is needed to provide the service you requested, meet a legal duty, protect Arezgit and its users, or improve the product responsibly. We ask for consent where the law requires it. Marketing messages are optional.

4. Optional connections

Arezgit can connect to services you choose, including sign-in providers, code hosts, AI services, databases, and APIs. When you choose one of these connections, the information needed for your request is also handled under that service’s privacy terms.

You decide which optional services to connect and what information to send through them. Arezdev does not sell or use content sent to a service you selected for its own advertising.

5. When information is shared

We share personal information only when needed to provide Arezgit, complete an action you requested, protect the service, or comply with the law. This can include:

  • Companies that help us deliver email, host online services, distribute downloads, and prevent abuse.
  • A sign-in or integration provider you choose to use.
  • Professional advisers or public authorities when required to protect rights, meet legal obligations, or respond to a valid request.

These companies may process information in other countries. When that happens, we use the protections required for the information and the people it relates to.

6. How long information is kept

We keep information for as long as it is needed to provide your account, answer requests, improve Arezgit, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and meet accounting or legal duties. When information is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymized.

Deleting your account removes your sign-in credentials and ends active sessions. Some security or legal records may be kept when the law allows or requires it, with only the information still needed for that purpose.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may ask us to:

  • Confirm whether we use your personal information and provide a copy.
  • Correct information that is incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate.
  • Delete, anonymize, or limit information when applicable.
  • Explain how information is used and with whom it is shared.
  • Withdraw consent or object to certain uses when applicable.
  • Provide information in a portable format when applicable.

Your account page also lets you export account information, review active sessions, update preferences and request account deletion. We may ask you to confirm your identity before completing a privacy request.

8. Keeping information protected

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we handle from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. Access to account and business information is limited to people and service providers who need it for the purposes described in this policy.

You can help by keeping your password and devices secure, reviewing active sessions, and contacting us if you believe someone else accessed your account.

9. Updates and contact

We may update this policy as Arezgit changes or legal requirements evolve. If a change meaningfully affects your choices or how personal information is used, we will provide an appropriate notice and update the effective date.
